About

OfflineMP3 is a personal project by Bo Zhang. It is not a company.

What it does

The only tool described here is Video to MP3. It re-encodes one selected audio track from an authorized video to a lossy 192 kbps CBR MP3. The conversion runs on your device. OfflineMP3 does not upload that file to its own server in order to convert it. Your media file stays on your device.

No account is required. The public Beta has not started. During Beta the tool is meant to be free to use. That does not promise that the product will stay free, that use will have no cap, or that the business model will stay the same.

Two separate sites

Content pages explain the tool, the limits, and the privacy boundary. They may later show one manual ad if the page has advertising eligibility. The processing page is a separate origin. It is where you select a file, check it, convert it, verify the MP3, and save. The processing page is not indexed. It does not load ads, an ad-consent module, third-party analytics, or session replay.

The planned content hostname is www.offlinemp3.com. The planned processing hostname is app.offlinemp3.com. offlinemp3.com is registered and is not connected to a hosting Worker, so this draft does not link to a live converter.

The name

OfflineMP3 names the on-device conversion of a file you already have. It does not mean the website itself avoids the network. A future ad on a content page, and a diagnostic event you choose to send, both use the network. The product does not describe itself as never using the network.

Status

This site is an unpublished draft. It is not a technical Go or a product Go. Search engines are asked not to index it. The privacy policy and the terms need review by a qualified professional before any public release.
